Harris County law enforcement and FBI Houston said Samuel Williams II was arrested at his Hockley home on Wednesday and taken to the Harris County Jail. He is accused of robbing the PNC bank on Cypress Rose Hill Road, near Highway 290, the previous Friday afternoon.

A detective at the scene said a man approached a teller, demanded cash and said he had a weapon. The teller gave him money, and the man left on foot. No one was hurt. The detective said it is not clear whether the suspect had a weapon. Officials did not say how much money was taken.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said surveillance footage showed the suspect arriving and leaving in a white Ford Crown Victoria. Officials said the license plate shown on the vehicle was registered to a Hockley address, and that Williams matched the suspect seen in the footage and lived at that address. Officials said Williams is on parole until 2032 after a 2012 bank robbery conviction. No further details about that conviction were available.
