James Carey Prosperie, 86, died of a medical emergency at the Pam Lychner State Jail, the Texas Attorney General's Office said.
James Carey Prosperie, 86, a retired Tyler pharmacist, died on Oct. 26 at the Pam Lychner State Jail, according to the Texas Attorney General's Office. The office said he died of an illness from natural causes after a medical emergency.
Prosperie had been found guilty of sexually assaulting a child more than a decade earlier.
