Registration for the second annual Light Up Heath Holiday Home Decorating Contest opens November 9 at www.heathtx.com, according to the town's announcement. The contest was first held in 2025.

Organizers said they hope to get two or three times as many entries as the first year. The contest includes a special category for the most spirited neighborhoods.

The announcement said registration closes in December. The story does not give the full closing date in the version available.
