Spurs forward Keldon Johnson joined young athletes for drills and activities at a Spurs Youth Basketball League (SYBL) clinic on Oct. 26, according to the Spurs. He worked with participants on the court, answered questions and posed for photos.

The clinic is part of the Spurs Sports Academy's effort to expand access to youth sports and promote inclusion. The academy said it aims to remove financial and social barriers that can keep children from taking part. It also emphasizes life skills and positive sports experiences.

Johnson was drafted 29th overall by the Spurs in 2019 and is in his eighth season. He is the team's longest-tenured player and has spent his entire NBA career in San Antonio. In 2021, he donated a $10,000 shooting machine to the Lanier High School boys basketball team. Through his KJ Kares foundation, he is scheduled to host a Thanksgiving drive on Nov. 21 to support local families.
